General Surgery deals with the diagnosis and the management of surgical diseases and disorders. The spectrum of diseases and disorders under the purview of the surgeon encompasses from the surgical correction of birth defects till the radical excision of cancer afflicted organs. It is also the primary responsibility of the General Surgeon to assess and manage Trauma and burns. The Department of General Surgery at Madha Dental College and Hospital receives adequate clinical material in the outpatient Department and Inpatient Department to provide for the Academic requirements of our students. Backed with the Faculty of Experienced General surgeons the Department is primed to teach our budding Dentists the Principles and the Practice of General Surgery.
