In consideration of the inter related factors of oral health with general health it is mandatory from the Academic point of view and the professional point of view that a understanding of various common ailments are made familiarized to the dentists. This interaction serves to broaden the clinical exposure of dentists to Diseases at large and their management. Dental students are made to examine patients suffering from Multi systemic diseases in the wards and outpatients and thereby develop their diagnostic acumen.
